Fan Organ Capela S. Miguel

The Organ in baroque style is one of the most imposing pieces in the Chapel of São Miguel.

Designed by Friar Manuel de S. Bento, a Benedictine organ builder who started building the instrument in 1732, it is a unique piece in the context of the Iberian organ and Portuguese organ making. The chapel's organ becomes even more unique because, despite looking like a single organ, it brings together three organs with a total of 2298 pipes.
